Cannonau (also known as Cannonao, Cannonadu or Canonau) is the autochthonous black grape most widely grown in Sardinia. Cannonau grapes are most commonly used to make red DOC Cannonau wine.

Colour: intense ruby red leaning towards garnet red
Bouquet: characteristic and intense
Taste: dry, warm, a bit tannic, strong, well-balanced with a long finish.
