Sangiovese wine is made from the eponymous autochthonous Sangiovese grape variety. The grape dates back to Roman times and gets its name from the Latin Sanguis Iovis, which became Sangue di Giove in Italian, or the “Blood of Jove”.

Colour: intense ruby red with violet hues
Bouquet: red fruit, cherries
Taste: soft, with good acidity
Ageing: 6 months in French oak barrels, 6 months in the bottle
